Meet Nacho, our newest cat. She only likes Maggie, hates being picked up and meows all the time. She is VERY beautiful but unfortunatly not all that smart. We love her anyway :)

This is Muffin. She came from the pound a few years ago as a very little kitten. She is scared of everything but she LOVES her Daddy :) Unfortunatly her Mummy is allergic to her!!!

Meet Kar-Pai. He is the king of the Jungle. He knows hes not as svelte as he used to be but he doesnt let it slow him down any. When we take Lu for a walk around the park at night, he always comes too. He talks to us all the time, loves us all like crazy and keeps all the other cats(and the dog) in line.

Its time for a hair cut as I cant see where Im going :)

October School Holidays

We took the kids to a charity Football match. The Eagles v Dockers. was a great hoot. The right team won ( Eagles) so we all left happy.

Inside Submarine Ovens at Fremantle Maritime Museum. We spent an hour looking around inside. Heard lots of stories. The kids had a great time. After this we dropped them at a Laser light game and they spent the afternoon there playing more then 10 games whilst we wondered the Markets and called in at one of Scotts most favourite places in the Whole wide world.

A day at the Zoo

August 2008. We went for a picnic at the Zoo with Grandma and Grandad. Was a gorgeous day, not hot at all. The animals were all out and about.

Unfortunatly I have saved these pics the wrong way around. Scott offered the boys $5 each if they would jump in the pool 5 times. It was at 12C in the middle of July. grant wasnt all that sure about it but there was no way that Harry was going to get paid money and he was going to miss out. So in they both went. The top pic was taken 1 min before they ran to a hot shower.

It took a little while to muster up the courage. Lots of talk, not a lot of action to begin with.

Grant is learning the piano. Mum is teaching him for now, but next year he will be taking lessons at School. He really wants to play and is really starting to pick it up.

Maggie singing solo at School ANZAC ceremony. You can see Grant just in front of the camera with his blonde top. Mags has just been picked with 4 other children out of 32 Schools to sing Solo at the West Coast Song festival in Novemeber. We are very proud of her. More pics to follow.

April 2008. Grant decided to give blonde streaks a go. Was a bit like pulling teeth but we got there in the end. He insists now on having 2 eyebrows !!!!!

Lu-Lu Belle came to live with us in March 2008. She was abandoned and we rescued her from the pound. What a VERY lucky dog . She joins the 3 cats, 3 fish, 2 lovebirds.

York stay

March 2008. We took a drive an hour east to York for a swim meet. Kids had a great weekend at this little farm stay. we stayed in the original barn over 100 years old. Was wonderful inside. Very modern and a nice break in the country.

Wedge Island

This pic was taken in March 2008. We took a drive a few hours North of Perth to Wedge Island for a little bit of "see how the city cars do out in the wild". The kids had a great day as our friends had Quad bikes and jet skis. Was a little windy for the water unfortunatly, but a great day was had and the Pathfinder did all that it was meant to do when tackling the sand dunes.

We are slowly but surely getting the house to be what we envision. I'll be adding more shots of the inside and front soon (oh yeah, I'll throw in a few more of the kids as well).
Nothing says Christmas Aussie-style like Santa in boardies and a tank top, but this comes close.
Looking down the north side of the house. We put the shade up over the pool for protection from the sun which is more direct here then in the States.
No Aussie patio would be complete without a beer fridge! The barbie (we really do call it that here) is just out of view.

The kids had a good night writing Christmas cards for their mates at school. They hadn't been out of the pool long. It isn't cold here this time of year:)
